TLDR: To create a check in Homeppl, sign in and click the green person icon. Enter tenancy details including property address, rent, duration, and comments. Then provide applicant details such as check type, name, email, phone, move-in date, AML check status, and guarantor info. You can add co-applicants and save details. After submission, applicants receive an email invite to complete their Homeppl check.
Creating a Check
Once you have signed into your Homeppl account, you can create a check by selecting the green person icon in the bottom right of the screen.
Tenancy Details
When setting up a check, you will be asked to provide the following details in relation to the tenancy:
- The property address
- The rent and currency
- The tenancy duration and payment terms
- Any additional comments
Applicant Details
After inputting the tenancy details, you will then be asked to provide the applicant's details, including:
- The type of check you wish to run on them
- The applicants name
- The applicant's email address
- The applicant's phone number
- The applicants' move-in date
- Whether this check is an AML Check
- The details for any guarantors
Once you have added the first applicant, you will have the option to save their details and add any co-applicants as needed.

Once all applicants have been added and their checks submitted, they will receive an email invite to access and complete their Homeppl check.
