TLDR: Proof of address requirements depend on the applicant's residential status. For informal living arrangements like staying with friends or subletting, applicants must provide at least one document. Acceptable documents dated within the last 3 months include a PDF bank statement, council tax bill, utility bill, government letter, or insurance policy. Documents not needing recent dates include an in-date driver's license or a complete PDF tenancy agreement.

Informal Living Arrangements
If the applicant is currently in an informal living arrangement, such as staying with friends or subletting, the documents we require will vary based on the situation. At a minimum, they will be asked to provide at least one of the following documents:
