TLDR: The Homeppl CRM tracks the status of checks, organizing cases by stages such as Invited, Data Gathering, Authentication, On Hold, Approved, and Unapproved. The activity stream logs key events like check creation, applicant actions, and reference requests, providing transparent updates throughout the check process. Support cannot provide updates beyond the CRM.
Updates on Checks
When a check is initiated, in progress or complete, all current updates are visible via your Homeppl CRM.
Homeppl CRM
Your Homeppl CRM will automatically organise your cases based on the current status of the case. This includes columns designed to organise your cases based on whether it's currently with the Case Manager for review, or with the tenant to provide more information to complete their check.
Check Statuses
The following statuses are visible on all checks and are updated by the case handler as we receive and verify your applicant's documentation.
Please note our Support Team cannot provide any additional updates to what is visible to you on your HomePPL account.
- Invited - Your check has been submitted, and we are waiting on the applicant to access it.
- Data Gathering - Your applicant has signed in and begun to provide their information and documentation. (A check may remain in this stage for some time, depending on how quickly your applicant and any referees provide their information.)
- Authentication - Your applicant has made their initial submission of information and documents to HomePPL. These documents are being reviewed, and we may need to request further documentation from the applicant if any submissions do not meet the eligibility criteria. (A check may remain in this stage for some time, depending on whether we need to request additional documentation from the applicant or any referees.)
- On Hold - We have not received all/any requested information or documentation from an applicant. The reason the application is on hold will appear as a note on the check.
- Approved - A check has been reviewed and approved by the Case Manager.
- Unapproved - A check has not been approved by the Case Manager.
Activity Stream
The check activity stream shows a running log of events in the lifecycle of a check, such as when it was requested and a timestamp of when it happened.
Please be aware that despite a document has been received does not guarantee that it is suitable and can be verified.
You may see some or all of the following event types on a check, depending on what has been requested and submitted:
